Lionsgate Bridge from the Seawall

What do you think of this one blog readers? I'm pleased with the way I managed to bring out the clouds. And of course the image of the bridge is very striking.

New photos and injured finger

I've posted loads of new photos, as you'll see. All from my camera phone, which isn't great quality, but it captures a moment.

Other than that, I managed to dislocate the little finger of my left hand last night, during the second and last of my snowboading lessons. It's currently strapped to the finger next to it and has to stay that way for at least a week. It also meant Steph and I got to spend half the night in casualty - boring! Still, I was in considerably better shape than some in there, so I shouldn't complain too much. It makes typing a bit harder though. I think I'll stop.

Weekend of table tennis

We just had a great weekend away away arganised by Mike and May kind of for Mike's birthday although that seems ages ago. Anyway, we had a great time despite the weather. Mike, me, Kevin and Phil battled it out to be the weekend table tennis champion. I think the honour went to Phil in the end, but it was good fun. Also played Settlers a lot, and also a freeform murder mystry thing on Saturday evening, which was good fun and everyone enjoyed themselves.

I have also just downloaded loads of photos off my phone, so hopefully some new pics will appear on flickr soonish!

October & early November update

Hi there. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We've done loads of stuff recently, most of which I can't remember! Steve and Julie came down for a few days towards the end of October. It rained a lot but we did get in one good walk in the New Forest. We also sorted out what lessons we are all going to have when we go sking/ snowboarding next year with them and Mike and May.

We also played a great game called Settlers which I won, twice! Highly recommended.

I have also been helping out with a drama group for children which has been fun. It's great to see them open up and express themselves.

Steph's getting into her french teaching. I think it's all coming back.

Last wednesday I went up to London for the day for a course. The food was very good. And the course was quite interesting too.

And at the weekend we went to some friends for fireworks, which was excellent, if a bit cold.

So, there you go, back up to date! We're off to Wells in Somerset on Saturday for Steph's mum's birthday and then next week, Casino Royale is out!!! Hurrah!

More photos from my sister's wedding

I've just uploaded more photos of my sister's wedding and included them in a new set on flickr. Click here to go straight to them.

Had a frustrating day today. Bought another tv ariel to try to get some better reception but it turned out to be worse! So put the other one back and will have to try to take the new one back to the shop. Hmmm... maybe tomorrow will be better...

A Rosy weekend

This weekend should be a quiet one, although we are going out Saturday morning to an event entitled, 'Are Fair Trade Roses Fair?'. It's being run by the Southampton Make Poverty History group. I'll tell you the answer to the question once I know it! We're running the Christian Aid table with lots of goodies on it. Other than that we need to keep sorting out the garage. i.e. moving boxes out, sorting them out, and then putting what we don't want out into the attic.

Plus, got to get ready for Steve and Julie coming down NEXT weekend. That means a MAJOR tidy up. Ha ha ha!

Censored!

Hmmm... not sure I can write what I want to write at the moment. I may have some major decisions to make in the next few weeks, but I can't really say anything until it's all sorted. It's very exciting though...

That's got you going. What can it be???

I'm still trying to sort out Laura and Iain's wedding photos, though I am making good progress. There's been a lot of red eye to take out on the indoor shots in the restaurant.

Well, that's it for now...
