Tankerton Beach

We went to visit our friends Steve and Julie this weekend. Yesterday we spent the afternoon on Tankerton Beach, which looks out over the Thames Estuary. It was extremily hot (for England) but it didn't stop us playing petanque on the grass above the beach - and I won! We also had fish and chips and an ice cream. Could we have BEEN any more English?
